Backstory
Parih was born to a Gridanian woman named Adya. A respected conjurer in her own right, Adya's skills were tested when young Parih was stricken with a mysterious illness with no cure to be found.Determined to find a solution, Adya tirelessly searched far and wide, seeking answers from anyone who could potentially help. Eventually, she discovered a spell of white magic that allowed her to transfer her daughter's illness into her own body. Adya selflessly took on the burden and strain, sacrificing her own future so that Parih could have the chance to live a full and healthy life.Now devoid of a mother and family, Parih found solace among her mother's colleagues—an amiable cadre of devoted conjurers who embraced her as kin. Nurturing and protective, they recognized her innate gift for healing magic, imparting all they knew. If a gap in knowledge arose, they diligently sought tutors and mentors across the stars to complete her education.Yet, learning has its limits. Now, as an adult, Parih yearns to venture into the world, determined to validate her mother's sacrifice
Notes
Talents include conjuration healing magic, with some hidden white magic skills for when the situation needs something potent.
In addition to traditional healing magic, Parih was also tutored in the art of acupuncture, the application of use of herbs and tonics, as well as Garlean medical techniques. Though most of these skills are untested and theoretical at best.
For protection, her family taught her the bare basics of red magic and swordsmanship through fencing.
Has aetherically sensitive hands and can feel, and be influenced by, the emotions of those she physically touches.
Became a vegetarian out of a desire for independence and control of her own life.
